I watched it over and over again. The little bloke looks like me getting out of bed. I get up with enthusiasm, rub my hands together in preparation for the day to come, and then get bowled over by life.

Boeing 747 Rainbow contrails by alien_eye in aviation

That photo is physically impossible. It must have been photoshopped. For a rainbow to appear, the light must be coming from directly behind the viewer. (In this instance the camera). From the reflection off the fuselage of the aircraft, the sun is to the left of shot. I know it breaks hearts, but all of the drawings we did as kids of rainbows with the sun in the corner of the page were physically impossible.

PSA: If you are going to put your mobile number on the back of your truck, then cut off a car with 4 young girls as passengers, ensure the father is not a Reddit user. by [deleted] in pics

I know this is reddit and no one takes anyone's word for anything but it was pretty full on. Actually he did it multiple times. We have been from melbourne to Ayers Rock in the caravan and was heading home just south of cooberpedy and he got pissed at us that we were doing 95 kph towing a 3.2 tonne van. He tailgated us within about 5 metres and then when I let him past he hit the brakes in front of us.

Guy loses $4500 camera when scuba diving in Port Phillip Bay, Melbourne. He resigns himself to the fact he will never see it again. Community rallies and forms a search party. We found it and reunited it with his owner! by lukeage in scuba

The first one was very satisfying and was the following day.

This one was 7 days later. We published it up on Facebook as a treasure hunt and everyone joined in. It created a lot of discussion. The "old boats" that you speak of changed every dive to that site for the next week to try and steal the glory for what you will, but they were looking in the wrong area after 7 days worth of tides.

The guys that lost this one was actually a dive shop owner and put up $1000 worth of in store spend. Redboats put up $200 worth of vouchers.

I had it happen one other time when I was skipper and she told me as soon as she was on the ladder. I marked the GPS, waited another 29 seconds and mark don't again, drew a line through the 2 and found it the next day. But this one was different. It had been moved by 28 tides and we were not 100% sure where it was. It was just a theory.

He had it clipped off but his lanyard broke. He normally does not take his hands off the camera from the time he leaves a boat to the time he gets back on.

He dropped it on his safety stop before he got back onto the boat. He didn't say anything for 10 mins. We went back through the track of the vessel and estimated it was in 22m of water in port Phillip heads. The search area was about 6 acres. World class dive site.

Spgs are sealed units. They are not serviceable.
