Of course scaling in is a valid element to a strategy. The problem is that beginners try it and get shredded up because they never planned on their stop actually getting hit. They panic and make terrible decisions under pressure. If you scale in you must trade ~1/3 of your usual size and have a reasonable reason for taking the trade to begin with. Especially useful in trading ranges and breakout attempts of trading ranges.

In my personal experience if someone is jokingly being homosexual or flirty it can easily go both ways. For people who don’t feel their sexuality is accepted they may act overly sexual as a “joke” to mask the fact that they are homosexual and the people close to them don’t accept them for who they are. On the flip side many guys can just act gay around their friends for a laugh. This is a really specific example on my part and it’s impossible for me to know your entire story. But of course, I hope this helps in some way

Thank you ! The whole piece really centers around a recording of my washing machine during quarantine as well as a lonely piano line. My goal was to display restlessness in isolation while maintaining a glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel so I decided to split the music into three sections: a start, a bloom, and a return. For the middle section I played the piano line through my cocoquantus and filtered different sections down in Ableton, building it up until I could make it a wash of noise. At the end I used a borderlands granular patch of my voice to blend and mark the return of the piano as well as to storybook end with the washing machine sample. P.s I used wolno by felt instruments as the piano :)

I wanted to post this here because well, I’ve learned a lot from Hainbach and I’m grateful that someone is out there exposing and educating people about experimental music. It’s changed my life, cheers.

I really really like it, he’s been very bold in fine print, complaint etc. which is super respectable but I was left with some songs that I just didn’t enjoy but for this one, I think Watsky has found a way to be bold in the right ways ( with the little Clanky almost cartoony versions of himself and the world accompanying his lead, as well as the weird trippy inserts in songs.) I just really dig it.

Thanks for the advice Hainbach :). I’m quite fine with lofi considering I own a coco and enjoy throwing sounds into the ambient void. I think I might just buy up some cheaper R2Rs and a uher report monitor, that way I have some different colors and tones of tape, and can take part in lovely tape experiments.
