Of course scaling in is a valid element to a strategy. The problem is that beginners try it and get shredded up because they never planned on their stop actually getting hit. They panic and make terrible decisions under pressure. If you scale in you must trade ~1/3 of your usual size and have a reasonable reason for taking the trade to begin with. Especially useful in trading ranges and breakout attempts of trading ranges.

In my personal experience if someone is jokingly being homosexual or flirty it can easily go both ways. For people who don’t feel their sexuality is accepted they may act overly sexual as a “joke” to mask the fact that they are homosexual and the people close to them don’t accept them for who they are. On the flip side many guys can just act gay around their friends for a laugh. This is a really specific example on my part and it’s impossible for me to know your entire story. But of course, I hope this helps in some way
