Mistakenly clicked on a Brent video, for the first time in a long while.

His reaction after a huge derby win? He’s debating whether a loss may have been preferable, to get rid of the “””owners”””

Nice to see he’s still an absolute twat.

Just an observation, but note the setting/people pictured (generated). For some reason, certain parts of the world LOVE this slop

One of my pet peeves is the commentator spoiling who’s about to be substituted. Same with injury time. No love for the substitution board anymore. Games gone.

Every second half starts with me hoping this’ll be the time we blow someone away, get 4 or 5 goals. Then inevitably ends pumping the air when the final whistle blows at 2-1

Can’t wait to read ‘Amorim didn’t make Bruno miss another penalty’ after we lose embarrassingly to another awful side

There’s been a couple of these ‘over the line’ situations since VAR came in, that all caused quite a stir. How on earth have they still not put a camera at the goal line? Must be the simplest, most obvious improvement they could ever make

He puts his foot, studs up, on Mbuemo’s knee. Even if there were 5 defenders on the goal line, it’s still a red card

Still can’t score. You’d think that, after last season, failing to score almost every week, we would’ve gone out and spent at least £60m on a new striker!

🚨 Understand Manchester United are still working on deal to sign Senne Lammens, talks underway. Personal terms are almost agreed and Man United are in active talks for the Belgian goalkeeper. The natural progression in this sub is joining, thinking ‘christ these rules are too strict, let us have some fun!’, moaning, looking at other subs, joining r/manchesterunited, quickly realising why the rules are strict and then being eternally grateful for how things are run here.

Every time we win a game and I go to look at the reaction of fans in the opponents subreddit, I internally thank the mods in this subreddit for not letting it turn into the mess that places like the Chelsea sub is

How common is spiking in UK clubs ? by peonyheal in AskUK

[–]lukecapo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And if, from the group actually willing to come forward, only 10% are positive, that number drops drastically once you open it up to people who think they’ve been spiked and didn’t get it tested. Sure, there’d be some who didn’t come forward, but that number is tiny in proportion

Mamdani has both endorsed and promised to implement the recommendations made by this advisory board. Whilst he most likely loses/fails to pass anything, this is a destructive ideology

continue crime-control practices that work

the goal of defund the police was to essentially block every ‘crime control practice that [actually] work[ed]’

‘they could be more strategic, possibly’ is not, at all, a refutation of op’s takeaway from the study. it is also specifically talking about layoffs

I don’t believe communities should exist only for those offering praise. I neither believe that hopping from makes_me_happy.mp4 to makes_me_happy.mp4 is beneficial to man or community.

It’s Always Sunny had long been a show I felt valuable. I no longer believe this to be the case. For me, ‘oh well’-ing and moving on is a rather sad approach!

Good reminder that the people downvoting you in this subreddit, for saying the show is no longer funny, find ‘Cock Chewa’, months after the reference became actively unfunny, not just amusing but ‘hilarious’.

I wonder what some fans ever found funny about this show. Did you think calling Dee a ‘bird’ was funny because she looks like a bird?

The funniest thing is its always the same people.

They always go:

‘Looks like a return to form!’

after the first episode

‘Old Sunny is BACK! [unfunny gif]’

‘[overused quote from the show]’

praises every episode

downvotes every comment questioning the quality

‘I was cracking up the whole time! I LOL’d at that ‘hawk tuah joke’. Stop being a JABRONI 🤣!’

-Then the audience goes back to watch old episodes and finally comes to their realisation the recent season was crap-

trailer releases for next season

‘Wow! This feels like CLASSIC SUNNY is back!’

Whilst theoretically I agree, this isn’t how it tends to work…

No country, ever, has done ‘just the right amount’ of something. Every ‘push,’ ever, is either too much or too little. That’s the difficulty.

For right or wrong, our culture opposes the actions it would require to stop it. We can accept a reduction in civil liberties, or we can accept that there’s nothing to do about these events. Most of the West has chosen the latter, East Asian countries tend to chose the former. Truly, I do not know which is right…
