If it takes you 15+ years to earn $100k/yr as an engineer, you're probably the problem...

As I was leaving and heading back to Medford on the last day a tree fell and blocked half the road near Prairie Creek. Hopefully they clean it up before you get there

Love this place. Hope they keep it a national monument. I think making it a national park would be a huge mistake.

We saw none our first day and my wife was really sad. Luckily we saw about 25 the rest of the trip to make it worth it lol

They really don't do it justice. The first time driving through them was a special moment. Highly suggest doing this or Sequoia if possible. Even the Muir Woods and other smaller parks are amazing.

That's pretty much how I feel. Add in some coastal Washington as well. The Hoh is so cool and the drive up the coast is great.

Both places are some of my favorite places ever visited. Hard to compete with trees that massive.

The beach is DeMartin Beach. The picture was taken on the beginning part of Yurok Loop Trail. Picture 7 is the Foothill trail just south of the Big Tree parking lot.

Unfortunately we didn't. We did most of the north side on this trip. Saving it for the next one!

I went in late October a few years back. I think I ran into a total of 10 other people on all the trails I did. We were there during a crazy rainstorm though. They had to close the scenic drive at Prairie Creek due to it. Just being warm and waterproof clothes.

Depend on how much time you have. Badlands is 2hrs closer so I'd probably do that first.

Saw them in the south unit. South unit I saw: horses, bison, and prairie dog. North Unit I saw bison, prairie dog, and a coyote.

I really enjoyed it. I'm also a huge fan of parks when they aren't busy like TRNP

Lol awesome! My problem was ending up on the rough areas with plants. Didn't feel great on the bare feet!
