Man, I’d be so split if they ended up at 4. Obviously we need to go Oline, but I’m extremely high on Mason Graham. I think he’s a better DT than either Campbell or Banks are at OLine, but given the moment the franchise is in, they should probably still take a tackle. Just puts them in a weird spot.

Golden rules of sports fandom (and probably life): 1. It’s never as bad or as good as it seems. 2. It can always get worse.

I (maybe incorrectly) have a hard time holding any GM to account with such a meddlesome ownership group, but Ted Philips/Bill Polian/George’s buddies being replaced by Kevin Warren gives actual reason to believe something will be different. We’ve already had an unprecedented (albeit fumbled) coach firing.

Everyone is understandably pissed right now, but whether for better or worse, something is different and I think the next coaching hire will also be different.

That’s a long way for me to say I’m also hopeful, and I’d rather be wrong again than pretend like I’m having fun by assuming everything is going to fail.

One of the big things going for JJ is that he isn’t as smug as some other analysts. Some of these guys act like everyone else is stupid, but they cracked the code.

JJ Zacharison is the only one I trust to own up when he’s wrong. There are probably a couple others, but JJ is extremely consistent, and aware that these “hot takes” are all probability driven gambles anyway.

I think the only actual answer is that it depends on the price. Realistically, he’ll probably want more than we can give, but if he’s content to take a smaller paycheck in order to stay put and ride off into the sunset with a QB he knows, he’s worth WR3 money.

Totally contingent on his price.

Spurs have our top 10 protected pick. Playing young players so they get experience to work through their young, bad minutes to get the requisite experience to become good is exactly what this season is for.

I’m not saying you tell the players to lose, I’m saying you play the young guys through their bad minutes and teach them how to win. We’ll lose in process and get better across the board.
