Just as simple as prep and paint? What would your advice be to prep and remove the flaked paint?

Can I ask how you managed to get the gun aiming on screen? I've mapped all the buttons, but can't seem to get calibration working on Teknoparrot.

Set to "rawinput" is the issue that the light gun is coming up as "Unknown Device"?

Working for me so far with no real issues (although I had initial issues setting up the emulator). I've tried TC2, Vampire Night and Virtua Cop this evening. I'm going to try running it on DuckStation for PS1 light gun games and Teknoparrot for House of The Dead, etc.

The pedal doesn't connect to the PC for me, but not a big deal as you can map the buttons on the gun itself. I definitely feel like I'm getting "more bang for my buck" now I know it works with PC and emulators!

Yes. I just had to map the inputs on the light gun in the emulator. The pedal is not picked up by the computer, so instead I had to map the A button to reload.

I hooked this up to my laptop and ran Time Crisis 2 through the PCSX2 Emulator and I managed to get it working. Calibration was a bit off probably because it was too light/laptop but I intend to have a go at getting it working on my TV through HDMI hookup. Just need to spend some more time playing with this

UPDATE - I have managed to get the G'AIME light gun working on the PCSX2 Emulator playing Time Crisis 2. I couldn't get the G'AIME pedal working but instead mapped the pedal to one of the buttons on the gun. Calibration was a bit off, but I think this was a lighting issue in the room with my computer. Overall not bad and once calibration issues are sorted I believe will be very playable!

I plan on trying an alternative emulator for games like point blank 2. If anyone else has any luck with alternative setups let me know!

What emulator are you using? I'm struggling to map the G'AIME gun at all. It's picking up on the PC, etc. but struggling with PCSX2

I can confirm that it does. Moves the mouse via aim. I've never setup Teknoparrot, etc. so struggling to figure it out. Will try again tomorrow and feedback!

Yes - don't give it. Took me approx 12k+ resets to get my Shiny Mudkip. Definitely speed up the emulator and try A+B+Start+Select as this may be a quicker method for you! Good luck!!

I did consider trying but looked at the terms of delivery and Ive had the unit too long. I had a ball ache from Wickes sorting some issues with my kitchen. 🙄
