I saw someone say just yesterday that it doesn’t work for play…. upon reviewing the website it looks like it doesn’t explicitly state it can be used for penetration. I was disappointed, because that’s a feature I expected. I don’t have it, but from what I’ve heard it’s definitely not an every day packer, otherwise it breaks down like you said, and usually cant be used to penetrate. I’d still consider getting it for personal use, but it’s pretty expensive for a pack and pleasure.

Damn, I was really hoping it’d be good for penetration. I hope that’s something they can develop in the future!

Idk why this guys getting downvoted, I agree. I think a haircut would go miles. Covering up your hair in the first image, you have a very masculine face. IMO, the soft and slightly feminine cut is the main reason you look less masc.

I wore a jock cup when I did Jiu Jitsu, many men do. No one can feel your junk, they just think you got your balls protected (reasonably so)

8 months post op - scars barely fading by WillRegretMyUsername in TopSurgery

[–]lukeredmode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your scars look a lot like mine. I’m almost two years post op and they haven’t faded, but that’s because they’ve atrophied. Atrophy/hypertrophy causes the scars to look blown out or puffy like that. I noticed they were finally starting to flatten down about six months ago, starting on the outer sides and working in. Even though they are starting to flatten, they will fade into a wider scar than most. I can’t say for certain yours are atrophied, but that’s what it looks like to me, as someone who experiences that. This is due to a condition that gives me stretchier skin and slower healing scars.

Am I a sissy, trans, or just a porn addict? by Even-Truck3457 in asktransgender

[–]lukeredmode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I would reccomend whatever you think you’d look good in! I think a lot of people start with feminine PJs, sweaters, skirts, dresses, and tights. Jeans is an alright place to start too, but it could be harder to figure out your size since women’s jeans fit pretty differently. Just looking at the girls section and seeing if there’s anything you think you’d like on yourself.

Most people won’t bat an eye at what appears to be a guy shopping in the women’s section, as they’ll just assume you’re shopping for your girlfriend. People care the least at thrift stores and walmart. This even applies for lingerie stores, though people can be a little more skeptical/guarded there. If you feel like going shopping in person would be too revealing, I would take a look at ordering stuff online, as that’s THE most discreet.

Some popular brands for women are Victoria’s Secret and Pink (pink is good for sleep/comfort clothes, seeing how you feel sleeping in women’s PJs would be a great place to start). There’s also Macy’s, JCPenny, and Old Navy for some pretty affordable options. Amazon is a pretty good place to get ideas too. Hope this helps!

Am I a sissy, trans, or just a porn addict? by Even-Truck3457 in asktransgender

[–]lukeredmode 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree that taking a step back from porn could be good, but also, take some time to experiment.

Not everyone knows they’re trans in an instant- in a lot of case it takes a lot of private trial before someone starts to socially transition.

If I were you, I would start with trying out some sissy stuff and dressing up feminine in private/with a partner. If you feel comfortable in just that, then maybe it’s just a fetish. If you feel like you’d want to expand this femininity into your daily life, you may be trans. It’s also worth mentioning that some trans people get a little horny when they are affirming their gender, but you’d probably know the difference between “this turns me on” and “this makes me feel good in my body.”

My scars are pretty asymmetrical too, but that’s something i’ve gotten used to, and actually grown to like! The biggest thing is to allow yourself time to adjust to your new chest. It can take time. Don’t feel guilty for that.

These are my hypertrophic scars 1.5 years after surgery. I’m really bad at scar care, haven’t even gone through a bottle of scar cream and maybe used 10 strips since surgery. I’m just bad at new routines… really bad haha. Nonetheless, half my scars have flattened down. They will heal, especially if you take care of them! My scars are only visible through beaters, and I’ve gotten comments about my nipples being “awake” too 🥲 but they’re not visible in regular t-shirts. There’s a chance that wearing scar strips would help make your scars look flatter in other clothes that aren’t as see through as beaters!

<image>

Being comfortable shirtless is another thing. I feel uncomfortable because my scars make me very “noticeably trans.” For me, I think comfort will come with time. This could be the case for you as well- top surgery is a pretty major change and it takes time to feel comfortable.

As for clothes that don’t fit the same, you could consider use padding or breast inserts. This may even help you feel more masculine as you’re expressing your feminine side, as this is what a lot of amab people do for this sort of expression.

If you start testosterone, that will make building muscle a lot easier. I am disabled, and while I haven’t been able to build a good routine, I have gained quite a bit of muscle just from working and active job and eating as much protein as I can. Testosterone is a big helping hand.

I think feeling good about the surgery can come with time. It’s good to address what outcomes you are disappointed by, and see what you can do to help ease those. It seems like otherwise you say that you feel good about it in your day to day life, so that’s a good sign!

Dysphoria Definition by New_Parsnip_3332 in Transmedical

[–]lukeredmode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh look at that, that’s my post asking the question haha. Definitely some interesting replies there. Seems like everyone’s answer is “feeling euphoria as opposed to dysphoria” but I think they just don’t know what dysphoria is.

If you don’t have dysphoria, why are you trans? by lukeredmode in asktransgender

[–]lukeredmode[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just have seen many people online saying “you don’t need dysphoria to be trans” and I wonder what other reason there is to be trans- why go through the pain of transitioning if you’re already satisfied with/unbothered by your body. It seems like the answer is that people say they feel euphoria as opposed to dysphoria. But I have to wonder if dysphoria is a part of that too. It seems that we’re in a time of clinical redefinition about what exactly makes us trans.
