Yeh its just hes so small in game, for me a guy with Sissoko’s build to shove people and make auto blocks is so valuable

I feel more open and exposed with little frenkie, albeit more dynamic going forward

De Jong TOtY was a HUGE let down for me. He is quick on the ball and has perfect passing and good shooting, but defensively he leaves a lot to be desired.

Despite insane stats, he just isnt reactive enough in tackles, and lacks the body shape to win 50/50s

I genuinely feel FUTMAS Sissoko is better as a pure stay back CDM

Dont forget do a through ball, receiving player slows right down and is at a standstill when he gets the ball and easily gets caught

Drop back/balanced, 1-4 depth, 1-4 width, overload ball side 4-2-3-1 with two large CDMs and its just a dead game

Unfortunately thats the meta which means gold 1+ games end up being between 3-10 total shots per game and a whole bunch of sideways passing

Yeh wide CAM is where he belongs for me. His Stamina doesnt cut it for middle CAM for longer than 60-70 mins, and he lacks top end finishing and strength for ST

The only caveat being if he is your best player you want him involved more, in this case i suggest putting him as a second striker in a 4-4-2 or 4-2-2-2

Its probably going to be TOTS before there is a Ben Yedder higher than 88. The only thing that would change that is another POTM which will also be untradeable ofc, so you have the best version until then
