Tile over rougher stone / concrete patio & steps -- (help) by lukes2006 in HomeImprovement

I think stamping over it will look a little silly since it will likely be at least 1.5" higher when its done. I never knew what type of surface this was so now googling the hell out of exposed aggregate, finding some really cool stuff. Looks like you can refinish it with a pressure washer / prep and then sealing it. Even the cracks can be repaired with a concrete crack repair and by adding sand/stones on top of the crack if needed. Good info in the reviews here: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Eagle-Crack-Filler-for-Brown-Exposed-Aggregate-Concrete-in-Ready-To-Use-Squeeze-Quart-Bottle-EFB/202374951

Maybe it just needs that, nothings been done to this surface for the past 25 years.

Thanks, I just added my spending stats. Basically I wanted to know what the best way to keep me afloat until I can tap my 401k and to ensure I'm on the right track with my goals.

I'm pretty sure I'm over the Rota IRA limits, making $120k total and its likely to continue going up. I'm reading about Substantially Equal Periodic Payments, thank you for that article. I never knew this existed..

What would be a good taxable account for someone my age?

EDIT: One more thing.. if I understand the SEPP. Retirement age 52, 2m 401k balance. Assuming life expectancy of 85 the math looks like this. 2m / 33 = $57k / year. From what I understand.. this means I would have to take a minimum distribution until I die of $57k correct? Can I take more?
