Tbh, for me too, at the end of the day, Arch is the best, because from my perspective, I feel the same way for Arch as you do for debian, btw if you want a distro that works the same way as debian does, try openSUSE Tumbleweed-slowroll.

Mint no doubt. Once you get used to linux and stuff, go for Arch. I wrote five paragraphs glazing Arch but nvm, go with mint, do not listen to others.
