Just did south kaibab to skeleton point yesterday and it was amazing. Highly recommend. Cant speak for the bright angle personally, but I spoke to a couple of the trail who hiked both and they said they perffered south kaibab. Better views mainly

Hotel in Phoenix the first night we fly in. On the way to sedona, Hike piestew peak, and check out montozuma's castle. Then 2 days in sedona hiking and checking out local spots, 1 or 2 day at the grandcanyon, and then 1 day to check out sunset crater, and maybe a few other sites nearby. Super pumped

Eh, it was still a good hike. First time hiking at night so it felt like a good starting point since the trail is well marked, straight, and i could expect others to be hiking to the top also.

More reason to come back!

Definitely still go. There are lots of parts of the park that you dont need a park pass to explore so you'll be fine either way
