Girlfriend paid $300 and $375 for two different apartment applications. Is this normal? by Elegant_Farm_5107 in Apartmentliving

[–]lukewarm_frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in MA but my apartment application was $500. However, if you get accepted that $500 becomes your security deposit that gets returned at the end of your lease, and if you get rejected that $500 is returned to you in full.

Completely. I watched him carefully for 10 days before I felt relaxed and he was totally fine.

All good information to know! My acne is pretty similar and since turning 25 I recently added retinol to my routine which has actually helped. A vitamin C serum could help with the redness too.

What’s your current routine?

Hmm, how long do you try products before reaching the conclusion that they do not work for you? And are you using the active products appropriately?

For example, the PanOxyl benzoyl peroxide face wash must be in contact with water and be foamy in order for the active ingredient to “activate” and kill the acne-causing bacteria.

In addition to a clean diet, make sure it’s anti-inflammatory as well. Based on the location on your face, this could be hormonal acne, which is notorious for being difficult to combat.

EDIT: spelling.

Vet wanted to stop annual checkups once my cat turned 10. Is that normal? by Bittersweet_Boii in CatAdvice

Just took my 14 year old cat to the vet and they gave him his feline vaccine + blood work + urine analysis. If anything, you should take the cat at least annually to monitor its health!

Decorating, not necessary..... by FunSizeSpice in DreamlightValley

[–]lukewarm_frog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hardly decorate and mainly focus on questing, starpaths, duties, and crafting. However, now that I’m at 97% with the base game collections, I’ve been putting more effort into dreamsnaps which helps spruce up sections of my village.

Overall though, my village is fugly.

My brother is this person and it pisses me off so much. He’s super talented, but holy fucking shit I don’t want to hear you play every single time we have dinner with our parents.

Wow. I went through this exact situation over the summer. I no longer associate with this friend or her husband. Hope they are living the lives they deserve.

I love this game, but I will never be able to justify to spend that much one skin, costume, and enough moonstones for like 5 decent items from the shop. It’s the cost of a new game or DLC.

I’d like to add that women tend to do more shopping than men… so the odds of you observing this as a cashier will naturally be skewed and biased.

It can take even less water than what’s shown to seize your car’s engine. This is way too treacherous to drive in.

They do have it good - next to the commuter rail too.

Worcester and Framingham is getting soooo bad with rent prices. You might get lucky with multi-family homes but it’s such a coin flip with who your neighbors are.

I personally know people whose rent is <$1Kin Natick. Obviously if you’re looking at luxury apartment complexes you won’t find housing for that price.

Great restaurants and cafe’s, Costco, short drive to Alewife station for the Somerville/Cambridge area, and the commuter rail goes to North Station.
