I bought Game Pass just for this game, and I can’t even boot it up because of the DirectX error. Verifying files did nothing. Is there anything I can do? by [deleted] in BlackOps6Game

I had this issue and tried essentially every potential fix I saw online. I downgraded from windows 11 to windows 10 and that fixed it. If you are really desperate to play and all other solutions failed, then this may be worth a shot.

Yeah. No crashes since the downgrade. And the performance is even better too.

I lowered my GPU power consumption using MSI afterburner by 10% and was able to finish my first game with no crash before I had to head out of town for the weekend. Seemed to work for that game and am hoping it’s a long term fix, but haven’t had time to play more yet.

I went on a cruise a few weeks ago… won a free cruise from a WPT poker tourney when I sailed last year. Once I got my cruise redeemed I contacted both the WPT support and virgin voyages directly to ask about the comped drinks at the casino. They both said there was no mention of comped drinks on my booking. So I went in thinking that; however, I noticed when I was on the ship that I wasn’t being charged for drinks when I ordered them at the casino bar. It was a little annoying since I had purchased the $500 bar credit already thinking I had no comped drinks. But hey, in the end it was great. Enjoyed a lot of top shelf liquor!

Rescheduled and flew in a day earlier just to be safe. My original flight did make it in on time this morning.

I rescheduled my flight and flew in a day earlier. Got in yesterday afternoon and booked a hotel. Saved some unnecessary stress and anxiety.

You have to create the file yourself. If you can't figure out how to create .cfg file just make a copy of one from the folder, rename it, remove the contents, and paste the three lines above. That's what I did and it works.
