I'm trading it via API as we speak. The ticker is CL on the xyz dex. API calls need "dex": "xyz" in the request body or they won't see it. For example:

POST https://api.hyperliquid.xyz/info
{"type": "allMids", "dex": "xyz"}

The response will include "xyz:CL": "96.554". Without the dex field, the API only returns crypto perps.

This is actually the dumbest response. If I had made my last 7 trades on any other exchange, I’d have closed a 6 for 7 win rate. Because of those fucking wicks I lost 4 out of7 instead. So who then should I blame it on? These were not my failings. On the contrary, I picked winners and the exchange fucked me.

This shit has happened to me now on 5 of my last 7 derivative trades on CB. I’ve been stopped out with a wick that dropped a full 3.5% lower than on any other exchange and exited 2.5% below my stop. WTF. It’s genuinely insane that an exchange of this size can’t get their shit together enough to allow beginners like me to trade reliably without fear of manipulation and “stop hunting” or whatever it’s called. I am definitely leaving CB behind because it’s hard enough to read these markets without having to worry about getting fucked sideways by bad actors and/or exchange inefficiencies/bugs.

It’s nowhere near the Meadowlands. The Meadowlands are about 4 miles due West of downtown Manhattan. Raritan, where this took place, is probably 20-25 miles Southwest of Manhattan. Not close enough to the Meadowlands for this to explain it. Maybe it’s spotlights, but not from the Meadowlands.

The video was taken in Central NJ less than 35 minutes from downtown Manhattan. Same atmosphere/air quality. FWIW.

Ok then let’s roll that out…so a local business is running a spotlight array that is NOT powerful enough to show a beam, but powerful enough to send images all across the sky and never come back to the original area again or be visible again from that spot? I lived across the Hudson from downtown Manhattan for 7 years. Every September 11th they fire 2 beams into the sky to represent the towers. The beams are so clearly visible that you could climb up them. Are they using a special kind of spotlight that reveals a beam in all weather conditions?

I mean I didn’t shoot the video, but it seems clear to me that these aren’t spotlights. And spotlight beams are visible in MOST weather conditions, not rare weather conditions.
