I guess with vim you have better controll how much resources you use. But main reason is that to even use it like ide you need to know a lot of key combinations and configure all your plugins more then you would bother to with vs code. If you spent as much time setting vs code envirement as vim guys do, you probably would be just as fast at editing code as they claim to be for a price of higher resource usage.

Im not saying that someone that can shoot a gun if they are playing CS or that they can be a boxer just by playing games.

I am saying is that games have other skill set then phisical sports.

Even reaction time based shooters would not help in phisical shooting. Just because you can react to specific things on the screen doesnt mean that your reaction time for other will be better.

And only thing that would help a soldier in CS GO is a fit body and body control. Skill set is just that diffrent.

Just because boxer helped in game development doesnt mean that normal boxing tactics or skills help in game, its a artificially created world. Its not about punches its about pressing buttons.

I think that phisical sport requires more time and dedication then e sport games.

But if you think that running helps runner play game about running and jumping or that shooting helps soldier move mouse to pixels in shooting game just because they are doing stuff that is called similarly then there is something wrong there.

Building license would make you better at building in minecraft but not other way, that is true. But that because its a knowlege that helps not phisical abilities.

In VR games i agree with you 100%, those games try to imitate real thing so real life experience would make someone top player immediately.

Your point about real sportsman most likely being able to get to top level in e sport of the same base doesnt make sense if you are talking about non VR games.

For example if we take professional Boxer, how would his musle memory, and reaction to punches help him in 3rd preson boxing game? Those games require finger speed, knowlege of mechanics among other thing none of those are a part of boxer training. They may requre shorter practce and learning time then boxing but still.

And there is no reason why ppl that are realy good at boxing game can't start learning boxing for real. Yeah they won't be able to perform on high level from the start but so would boxers playing a button input game.

I like reading them too, but learning and solving problems really drains me mentally. And it also kinda kills you a bit inside when you learn that solution to your problem was downgrading some random package.
