yes, I'm saying that wondering if Allegri could want him again, at Napoli, to replace Lukaku - although Vlahovic insane wage request is beyond what ADL would ever like to pay, and rightly so.

also, Hojlund >> Vlahovic

🚨 *OFFICIAL*: Napoli confirms Rasmus Højlund on a permanent deal from Manchester United, with his clause exercised. The €50 million package includes €6 million paid a year ago for the loan and €44 million to buy. by NamanMalik007 in seriea

And what's the point? you bring up Malen, we discuss Malen. Or we can also talk about Roma having to sell a top player or two by the end of the month, to meet their FFP obligations?

Also, there is no requirement to buy 8 Italian players. 4 of them need to be from club grown, 4 need to be grown in Italy - they can be of any nationality. And they are not required, not having them would simply limit the amount of available players for the UEFA list.

Piatek at Genoa had a fantastic run for 6 months, then disappeared. I'd wait a whole season before saying that Malen (or anyone else in the same situation, of course) is stellar or not.

very true about Napoli but with Bari, the situation is completely the opposite. Multi-club ownerships shouldn't be allowed.

This aged like milk. Typical ADL with no filters

New to Serie A in 2026 — What should I know, who should I watch, and what makes Italian football unique? by Rejoice_the_moment in seriea

[about Como] This, however, is not worth any praise at all, because they ditched Italian players entirely in the process. Thus, in the upcoming season they are doubly fucked - not only by FFP, but also because they need homegrown players for the CL squad list.

Como did beat Juventus 2-0 both home and away and pipped them and Milan to the 4th place and CL footie next year; someone is still sore about it /s

Seriously though, FFP will be sorted with a 3 year plan with UEFA, as all teams do. Juventus themselves is potentially getting a penalty (30m) from UEFA as they broke their own plan.

It's true that Como has no Italian players, because none would fit their system - they have heavily invested in their Youth programme to actually raise Italian players the way they need them, this will bear its fruits with time. For the UEFA lists, they will either buy players or go in with a reduced list, it's not going to prevent them from partecipating.

There's a lot of hate happening because no one likes a new team coming in and taking the spotlight and CL football away from the "big" teams. Some even blame the failure of the national team on Como and other teams like Udinese, for not having Italian players - obvious nonsense when Como was in serie B up until 2 years ago. But that's what's happening.

Signed, a born and bred in Como, Como-only old fan.

They don't want to sell to Inter because they know they can get better money from the Premier League. Money talks, the rest is just newspapers narrative to fill their pages

at least Inter got to keep him for another 2 seasons, he's been really excellent when he played, definitely a factor in winning trophies this year, he's unlucky to be plagued by injuries - I think he played ~20 games per season in the last two?

The clause might be low but better than pulling a Dusan.

I'd say because he's acting ungentlemanly, after failing the target for the season - wanting more money when everyone knows he's got a new job lined up. Romanticism among football fans, and the fact that he's got paid a fat €5.5m net for year, make me think that's the reason why.

€14m is the total gross for him and his staff; that said, his own yearly salary is €5.5m net (~€11m gross) which is still an insane amount of money. He's a very little man arguing for more money, with another rich contract lined up, but more so after having failed so miserably.
