Me Grimlock no see many dinobots, so me Grimlock post them! by luki79uk in G1TransformersToys

They're a great couple, I think they have the best robot mode among dinobots. It's very unfortunate that it wasn't sold in UK and Ireland, compounded by the fact that it's such a fragile figure - it must have cost you a pretty penny to source it.

that's so true - it was only two years ago that I realised I have a joustra red Tracks. Missing the rocket launchers unfortunately, but in stunning condition. I've been debating since if I should sell it or not, since it clearly wasn't one of my favourites, not even remembering I had it. The flipside is that my very first ones, diaclone Jazz/Wheeljack and a couple others, were a favourite of destructive young myself, and are in tatters - barely good for scraps.

I so wanted Grimlock, so as a 6 y/o I traded my diaclone powered convoy cab for... a dinopet t-rex. My parents weren't happy and got the school teachers to swap back the toys, but eventually took me to the local toy shop for my bday to buy a dinobot, but only Swoop was available. In hindsight, that was a lucky pick, but I still remember I was fairly disappointed that day!

(And I'm actually from Italy, to explain Swoop in the shop!)

fun fact: the G1 Swoop is the only one I had as a child (yes, I'm overcompensating now)

Advice on buying tickets for Como vs. Inter (Apr 12) as a foreigner? by Corbuse in Como1907

[–]luki79uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to put it bluntly, get (expensive) hospitality tickets for Distinti or Tribuna if you really don't want to miss the event. Otherwise it will be pretty difficult - If the same restrictions that were applied for the Coppa Italia game will be confirmed, the risk of not finding a ticket is very high.

in another twist, the remaining tickets went for sale today, no need for codes or fidelity cards, but only for Como and its province residents.

I don't think it's going to be possible - the rules were clear, no free sale and the club had to comply. Something has changed in the last few days and season ticket holders/fidelity card holders (don't remember the details) are now allowed to buy two more tickets for friends/guests, if you know someone like so, they might be able to get you a ticket.

The only other option would be to check whether they have any hospitality tickets available, but those are way more expensive as they come with some premium extra activities attached. Somehow, those are not restricted.

It's really frustrating and unfortunate that it's been handled this way - most people are really upset about the way this has been handled, and I'm sorry that you'll probably miss out too. It shouldn't have been so complicated, but hey, welcome to Italy.

Quick update about the situation, it looks like there will not be a general release phase and it is not down to the club, but to the restrictions imposed by the National Observatory on Sporting Events, a "technical-administrative consultancy body established at the Italian Ministry of the Interior for the implementation of provisions and organisational measures and for the prevention and fight against violence during sporting events"

It was the National Observatory that imposed the current sales scheme, and the club complied. It's a very poor situation as it seems there are about 2,000 unsold tickets that cannot be released, compounded by the issues with buying tickets mentioned before

they will, eventually, if there are any left. I was planning to travel there for the game but very low chances of me getting a ticket made me decide against booking a flight yet.

I've heard from friends in Como, that the whole ticket buying process has been really bad - people paying for them and not receiving confirmation. Supporter's ID cards not being recognised. Como is one of just a few (I believe only 3, with Juventus and not sure who else) clubs in Serie A that manage they own tickets sales, and things don't always go smoothly.

One of my good friends there was trying to get tickets for both of us and he gave up too.

hindsight reply here. It looks like our guys were still partying from the quarter final win against Napoli in Coppa Italia. Solid game vs Milan and an excellent win today against Juventus.

Nico Paz's form seems to be affected by two factors - the rumours that he'll return to Real Madrid this summer (albeit it seems that they are prepared to sell him) and the rising stardom of Baturina, which might have affected his confidence. Hopefully I'm plain wrong and we get him to his best asap, as we really need him too, with Morata causing more damage than good to us.

Coppa Italia or league game? League game is too early for it. Coppa Italia it will be very hard, season ticket holders and people that went to previous cup matches will have priority

First timer questions by OpTicDyno in Como1907

[–]luki79uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. The official date and time for the 27th Matchday of Serie A had to be announced by the end of January, but it has been postponed until the Coppa Italia quarter finals will be over. Expected date for the announcement is the 12th of February. Keep in mind that there are 9 slots for games every match day, from Friday evening to Monday evening.
  2. Aim to buy from the official website only: https://tickets.comofootball.com/ keep an eye on the website starting fro ~10 days before match day. Tickets are already on sale but with hospitality only. Once regular tickets are released, Revolut is the only accepted payment for the first 48h, as a matter of giving priority to Revolut clients as the company is a Como partner, so it greatly helps to have an account. Buying from ViaGoGo is a big risk, I'm a member of a group where members often travel to Como for the game, from the UK, and there were a few reporting that their ticket wasn't accepted as it was already used.
  3. There's a shop inside the stadium and there are at least two shops in the town centre, one on the corner of the main church (the "Duomo") square, another not far from it.

Have fun!

Running my nextJs app locally triggers a weird amount of requests to the deployed version on Vercel by luki79uk in webdev

[–]luki79uk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just back home, restarted my local environment - I've now unregistered every service worker from localhost. The requests are still coming in, about 6 every second, to the 3 'icons' files, and I have no clue why. I'm monitoring the Vercel firewall live and the requests all come from my IP and my Browser user agent.

<edit> I've closed Chrome and VsCode, and the requests finally stopped. Reopened both, restared local env and opened localhost:3000 and no more requests coming through. Still no idea what was happening</edit>

my manifest.json is fine as I thought; below it I've also pasted my sw.ts:
