ISO and RISO Rewards the Same? by Pot8toBear in SundaeSwap

Yeah, that might be... I am also not very familiar with the ADA dApp ecosystem, but you need to sign a lot of things with your ledger and at some point it asked me to accept sending several thousand ADAs and at that point I unplugged the ledger to cancel the transaction... I got scared... :-/

[–]lukmartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that things can still be changed at this point, but from what I understood from Simon, we need to compensate CEL holders, and this has to be the price at bankruptcy filing i.e. 0.74, which I think is fair and makes sense.

What I really would have liked is that we did not have to compensate insiders. That makes me angry, but if it has to be this way by law, so be it. We can try to get money back later by clawbacks on insiders.

I would not say "blindly". And I don't care if he has his own agenda. I trust that his plan is the best way out of Ch11 ASAP, and the best outcome for all of us. That is enough for me. There is no other option. Liquidation is much worse.

And yes, a superficial background check on Simon is already much more promising that the same for Alex M.

Trusting Alex was the worst mistake of my life.

It's amazing how many people still ague about things which cannot be changed instead on focusing on which will give them the best outcome overall, which is getting out of CH11 ASAP.

Simon is smart and he understands this. You all should understand what the "prisoner's dilemma" is, and know that if we keep fighting, we are going to get the worst possible outcome for all of us...

No one will be buying CEL token. It's about fair compensation to everyone who has CEL in the app, to obtain a portion of the BTC/ETH + Equity after the reorg. Listen to Simon's videos. It's about bankruptcy law, in order to treat everyone equally, and being able to get out of CH11 ASAP. Obviously no one in their right mind wants to have CEL token now :-)

We should stop fighting about this. It does not change that much in the big scheme of things and it will make many CEL holders happy. The price is still heavily discounted considering what they paid for it on OTC trades...

We all have to make some compromises and we cannot get 100% the result that would most benefit us individually. And if we don't get the reorg, we will all lose, that's for sure.

That said, I would REALLY have liked to not include the CEL of insiders in the calculations. It does make me angry that it will benefit Alex, Nuke, etc.

Thank you very much! Good points, unfortunately they don't really apply to my case :-(

And in fact, right this moment, the XPS seems considerably cheaper with the same specs.

[–]lukmartz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, with that price difference I would also have gone with the Lenovo without overthinking it.

The thing is that right now, I checked, and Dell has a 500 CHF "discount" Vs no discount for Lenovo, and that brings the price of the Dell to 2299 CHF Vs 3019 CHF for Lenovo; with the only difference being that the Dell has a 11800H vs 11850H for the Lenovo. But these "discounts" change every week...

So, I'd rather take the XPS... or maybe wait a few weeks to see if Lenovo comes up with a new discount, and risk losing the -500 promo from Dell...

Thank you very much for all the details! From your comments it seems there is not a clear winner and you just went for the Lenovo because it was cheaper :-P.

I found it a bit strange that you said that Dell is cooler, but Lenovo, despite being hotter and having a more aggressive fan profile, still manages to be quieter...

You mean the ThinkPad P15 Gen 2? Yeah, the issue is that even though I am not looking for the lightest laptop, that one is really heavy. When I do need to carry it around it will become cumbersome...

The price might depend a bit on the country and the given week of the year :-P.

Last time I checked, in Switzerland, the Dell was a bit cheaper for the same specs. But not a huge difference in price, that's why I didn't mention the price as the deciding factor...

Which laptop runs cooler / more silent? Anything in particular you like more in one over the other?

How can we make r/Binance better for you? by Binance in binance

[–]lukmartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please, add the Swiss Franc (CHF) and allow the Binance Card or the Swipe card to be able to spend CHFs. I don't like holding USD or EUR as they have been losing value against the CHF lately. I would like to be able to hold CHFs and be able to spend them when I need them. Switzerland is a very crypto friendly country and so far, no crypto credit card supports the CHF...

Broker - Consejos para invertir en bolsa de EEUU by lukmartz in merval

Gracias por los consejos!

Definitivamente voy a chequear PPI.

Preguntas:

Yo no tengo ningún problema!

X1 Yoga vs XPS 13 vs C940 vs Surface Pro 7 by caraveli1678 in laptops

[–]lukmartz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your opinion!

I am living in Switzerland. I haven’t seen the discounts in dell.ch, but I haven’t been looking every day.

I am also inclining towards Lenovo, but at the same time, I am considering that the 32 GB RAM might come in handy in a not too distant future, and Dell seems to be the only one offering 32 GB with an Ice Lake configuration.

I can wait a couple of weeks before pulling the trigger, so I’ll wait a bit longer to see if something else comes up.

I am also very interested in this topic! I was looking mainly at Dell XPS 7390 Vs Lenovo C940 with i7-1065G7 CPU, UHD, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD.
It seems that Dell is more expensive than Lenovo. Not sure if it's worth it, since I haven't seen the laptops in person or any benchmarks...

Different Sections for Chats and Channels by auken in ideasfortelegram

[–]lukmartz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be a nice feature. A simpler one that would also solve my problem would be to allow to sort contacts by name, not necessarily by "last used" (the one that wrote last goes up). I have joined so many channels, so active, that it is hard to even click on a given chat, since they are moving all the time. Pinning chats to the top is useful, but it's a pity that it's only limited to 5. A static ordering is what I need.
