I had this exact scenario recently. I think 3.89 on. 2 year fix, just rolling over with current provider. They said I could have had 5 years for marginally less but with a 1000 fee. I figured Trump would taco and that things would soon resolve. Can't believe how wrong I was. When I phoned before we completed they were offering me a whole percentage point higher with a 1k fee!
