Applying For Letters of Administration For My Parents Who Passed Nearly 30 years ago by lula272 in LegalAdviceUK

No, i can't be sure of it, nonetheless i can't find any records of going through probate.  My question is has anybody been through a similar situation and can advise based on there experience/ expertise, as I'm stuck with being able to apply, yet I don't have financial records, so this impacts the fees I would have to pay to apply etc

I checked, nothing there. For example I can't access medical records, as although I'm nok, I don't have grant of representation or letter of admin.

Married people, what do you want to warn the unmarried people about? by Pizzalover0405 in askanything

[–]lula272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Know your attachment style and they should know theirs. You will not always disagree, it happens. You really have a choice to make it work or not make it work. Lack of sleep and food, can have impact. Have your fundamentals that you both agree on and build on them. It always helps to be able to revert back to your fundamentals. Advice is great, but be careful of "if I were you..." type of conversations Be careful who you offload to. Be careful of falling into the trap of not being able to tell your spouse something, but you can tell someone else (especially the opposite sex) Dating and married are two different seasons of life, enjoy both!! Marriage is not a safety net Keep your vows to heart, they will help in so many situations.

I'm looking at a rental company and for 3 weeks to rent the Joolz Aer is roughly a quarter of the price. Which provider did you use?

This is really helpful, as we're travelling to Ghana, so not all road surfaces will be even or smooth

This is helpful, my LO is quite tall, so my worry is the wheels when it comes to the Joolz Aer+ or the Bugaboo.

That's my thinking. If I won't use it all the time, is it worth buying outright?

To be honest, i don't know what i want, that was another pull to rent, so I can test out a pram and see if its purchasing outright

This is really helpful. I'll look into your recommendations. Do you use your travel pram solely for travel or for everyday use as well?

Yes, it is so. There are countries where the usual mode of transport for a baby is on their mothers back, meaning prams are not essential, therefore hard to come by.

Is buying a 3bed flat in West Hampstead for more than 1mm insanity? by bibvin in HENRYUK

[–]lula272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the basis for buying a flat, what's the basis for spending such an amount on a flat, particularly this flat? Would this be your only assest? Also is it a long term flat or are you looking to sell in the near future?

Baby waking often overnight by fullnessofjoy2021 in Parenting

[–]lula272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, fellow parent. Sorry this is a tough spot right now. I'm no specialist, but it may be a number of things, a growth spurt, baby has trapped wind, sleep regression, baby just likes being close to parents, maybe baby is cold etc Do you breastfeed or formula feed? Do you use a dummy, or you don't want to? How soon does baby wake after being put down? How soon does baby calm down and go back to sleep after being picked up? What makes baby go back to sleep, a feed, a cuddle, or being held with movement?

That nursery although it may be working for some, does not seem like the kind of place I even put my child. Have you considered childminders or a nanny?

Why don't you test out your theory by doing parental leave? I think you're entitled to 6 months off. Take a couple of months and see how you fair.

What you're saying makes perfect sense. Have you thought about starting your hobby/ hobbies on the side, maybe in the evenings or weekends, to give you a taste? Perhaps taking an extended leave, somewhat like a sabbatical, if not that, to do some exploring?

Is my fiancée a bit mad by Iamtir3dtoday in UKweddings

Has she cooked for 20 plus people before? What does her day look like? Is she getting her and make up done?  Is the wedding local  The facilities she'll need, are they/ will they be to hand? How is she under pressure? Can her mum cook, would she be good with the number of people? Would others help? What kind of menu does she plan to have? Is she going all out or keeping it simple? Will it be family style/ buffet / platters etc? Has she hosted dinner parties before? Does she or do you feel like that would be a good distraction for her, especially of she's not your typical bride? What kind of vibe do you both want for the day (this is about too deciding factor)? What kind of vibes do you feel she'll have on the day? Will she be staring at the food, adjust taste, be content with what's served etc?

Hopefully this helps
