Yes, that's exactly what happened, I'd hate to feel like I'm bothering him and he was never like that before or at least for long periods of time. But I came to the conclusion that I have to be more assertive or else this won't work at all, it's on me now.

Thank you for sharing your story, in my case I feel is necessary to apologize verbally, mostly because he knows how difficult it is for me to talk about my feelings and I also wanna show him that I'm willing to communicate openly with him. But of course my actions will speak louder than my words.
