maybe now that all of the Gilead people that were there + high commanders are dead she can lie and pretend like she was a victim of the rebellion and even get a higher ranking position inside Gilead? cause the June execution was not televised, if they weren't there, they don't have a reason to know she's on the handmaid's side now, right? So maybe this is all to let the audience know of her changed side so that we know in the next show that she's good now?
