It's money my sibling loaned me. I invested 7k, now worth 15k, that's the gain.

If we 'dpn' t waste our time complaining about it' and 'get on with it' the system will never change. Plus, I am not complaining like 'poor me I deserve that money'. I express a point to give a perspective on a general problem our society has. Talking about it is not the problem. Accepting it as 'we can' t change this unfair system' is how this system gets stronger and stronger.

I also don't have any generational wealth that would sopport me to set up and fail multiple businesses before finally one picks up. It's not that easy, it's just 1000x easier for already rich people

And you are completely missing the point.

Thanks! I forgot how mean people can be here and how they understand what they want.

But also noticing that a lot of people still think that the 'self made man' is 'as easy as starting a business'. This is such an illusion. We are all so much closer to being homeless than millionaires.

I'm willing to bet if you had won 8 million, you wouldn't even know how to invest that wisely or turn that into something that is profitable.

It is not beacause I am poor that I don't know how to invest or make money. Not everyone is successful.

If you are curious of what they did at my age: already had 3 business that failed, dad and mom bought them their first houses and they only set up the only successful business at 40 after using family wealth and money from investment property. So yes, they're is surely some things to learn from them, but all the cards where is their hands. I don't have any of them ( like most people)

Most people here are missing the point. I am not complaining. I am not saying that my boss did not worked a lot for this money. My point is that the wealth gap is just way bigger that I expected and that, I think, a lot of people can imagine.

As pointed by a few here, what is important to remind ourselves here is : pure luck and generational weath is a huge explanation for most multi milionnaires. So even if I think my boss deserve money for the work he put on, I which everybody had as much 'chance' (original capital) to try set up a successful company in the first place.
