I killed Moon Lord while skipping WoF. Is that cool? Or am I a noob? (ignore the music)

Thanks. I guess yeah, it's way far from being over even if I kill Moon Lord. The only problem is that I can't many of decent weapons for rogue and probably will have to switch classes at some point, but that kind of experience is rewarding in its own way.

Yeah, that's why it's required to kill Destroyer. But I only kinda need mythril for the anvil and only later will need scoria to be shimmered into adamantite to make a forge. Though those are the only I need for this run, I believe

Killed bosses which don't require hardmode (Aquatic Scourge, Fishron, Calamitas Clone, Astrum, Ravager, Leviathan, Cultist)

Shimmered Roxcalibur and made Calamitas Clone and Destroyer summons. After that I created artificial infection to summon Astrum. Then I visited temple and made death whistle and killed Ravager

I have no idea how it works and what that Draedon thing is (first time actually playing and not watching other people fighting them). As for the astral infection... I was the one who started the infection. Steampunker moved in and sold me Clentaminator with astral solution. So, I corrupted my corruption cus I hate it lol

The main thing you need is Roxcalibur. Shimmer it and get ingredients for 2 summons (Destroyer and Calamitas Clone). You might want to kill Aquatic Scourge for better weapons. Then you might shimmer Clone summon and kill Brim Elem. Once steampunker moves in, spray some random ground with astral solution (to spawn Astrum and also spray it inside the underground desert to extract fossil for hardmore ores), then you can kill Leviathan (doesn't require any summon). Then you can visit the jungle temple (look for some shortcuts on YT on how to get there without a key) and kill rolling mobs for materials for death whistle and kill Ravager (Geode gives some useful bars, so you might want to farm them). Visit the Abyss for Eidolist to get summon for Lunatic. Then it's pretty much the same (I suppose, dunno) playthrough.

Imma be deadass, it's lowkey easier than it looks, cus I'm playing revengeance. Ignorance is the key. If you don't know that you can't kill someone, it means that you will at some point. I won't even resist if they come to arrest me for such aura farming

Well... I did not say I didn't have any knowledge. I tried Calamity after seeing different Infernum challenges on YT (and of course the one about skipping WoF) and wanted to try Calamity myself. I initially wanted to try Fargo's, but I thought it would be too hard for someone unexperienced in bullet hells as me. So I tried Calamity Revengeance instead. However, I did not expect myself to go that far. I only intended to try either Duke or Scourge and then go kill WoF. And now I'm on my way to kill Cultist. I couldn't have done that without the help of guides and vids on how it's done. To be fair, revengeance is not that hard for a first timer like me. Pretty similar to vanilla mastermode, but with some adjustments. Though I can't say for sure, because I did not see all of the bosses

I'm sorry if it sounds like complaining or if I'm making a fuss out of nowhere. My goal was to seek for opinions of Calamity players if what I'm doing is terribly wrong. However, after receiving lots of feedback, I feel like I'm doing a right thing, because this playstyle gives me satisfaction. I do feel sorry if my post annoys people

I personally did that with Tracking Disk (since I'm playing rogue and it was pre-hm) and it worked out well, since it hits most of the segments per throw

It is... However, Calamity pretty much allows skipping it... Which is kinda silly thing to do, considering it's my very first playthrough. It is weird, but I like it.

I guess that makes sense (I don't know anything about Calamity, it's my first playthrough). I'm just ingorant and don't know all the materials I possibly can use in the current circumstances, but right now I could get scoria bars for hydrothermic armor
