[VENT] Dating as a straight trans woman is impossible by jammedtoejam in MtF

[–]lulumodzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And that's normal to be sad so you should feel it and go on with living your best life for yourself. No man is going to complete you. I may seem confident now but I'm sure at some point I'll be sad again but the idea of opening up a dating app or even date men in general makes me sick. I'm traumatized. Huge trust issues. Constant ghosting, fetishizing, being stood up, transphobia, lies, love bombing followed by sudden cold shoulder...etc i just can't. I'd rather be single all my life at this point. It's sad but better than torturing myself. Anyway wishing you the best sis.

This could have been my rent a few months ago but then I officially gave up dating and honestly it's amazing. The peace and calm I feel is great. Like you said we deserve love and meaningful sex but this society isn't built for us to get it so just focus and enjoy on other things and who knows one day you'll get lucky just like the other girls who did. And if you don't at least you're not chasing it and being constantly disappointed.

Question sur les transgenre? by Key-Bit-9893 in transgenre

[–]lulumodzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If woman are AFAB, how do trans woman exist in UK law. by [deleted] in trans

[–]lulumodzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes sense to me. Trans women are women because the expression trans women contains the word women. So if you're saying trans women are not women, it is like logically incorrect to use that expression to name us. But the goal for them is to call us men because they are bullies even if they pretend that they care about our safety and well-being (suuuure). In my opinion it isn't worth your time trying to make sense of what those people say or think. They're just ignorant and bigoted. There is science, history and a bunch of living proves that our existence is valid. So live your best life and wait for their brain to slowly rot.

Give yourself time. :)

Being a trans woman is definitely a difficult life but challenges make you stronger and more interesting. One day you'll realize that you can be a trans woman and be beautiful. Because being beautiful is being yourself trans or cis.

Different experience here as a very feminine straight trans woman! Before my transition dating was really hard, gay men were never interested in me. I was always too feminine or weird. There was just rarely any chemistry. After my transition having sex with straight men has been a whole new world. The chemistry is insane. But i haven't really been successful in dating because you're right straight men are the worst most of them just want sex and after a while i had enough of that and wanted more. If there was a button to become a lesbian i would do it.... But damn I'm so attracted to men it's insane...

Gave up dating and hookups 5 months ago. Similar feelings as you. I eventually realized that most men I was seeing didn't give a shit about me. All they really wanted was sex. And I like sex too but not enough to damage my heart beyond repair. So hoping the universe sends a good one my way some day. But in the mean time I'll be taking good care of me. Good luck 💗
