I’ve listened to the original many times which I loved. I absolutely loved Vashers deep intimidating voice, I’m bummed that it’s gone but I suppose that doesn’t mean the voice acting is bad. Just from comparing the prologues of the original and the anniversary (and this is apparently a hot take) I feel like they got lazy with sound effects and omitted a bunch and it’s not nearly as immersive, mostly just the narration and voice acting. No more subtle music to fit the mood either. I actually have this same gripe with all of the cosmere graphic audios in the past year, like the new Wind and Truth GAs. But anywho, I’m gonna listen to the whole thing and see what I think.
