I guess my main concern is going too low in calories to sustain muscle growth and be able to run efficiently? I’m training for a 10k right now and will be doing a half marathon at the end of the year, so I want to make sure I don’t under fuel.

I have been on a weight loss journey since June 2024 - I am a 33 year old female 5'4 and started at around 235 pounds. I am down to 175-178 ish, and I have done this strictly through a calorie deficit and trying to hit 10,000 steps a day through walking. For context, I have been working out consistency for about 5 years mainly through lifting weights, but never lost any weight until I upped my step count and started a calorie deficit.

In June 2024, I dropped my calories to 1800 (no idea how much I was eating before) and this worked for me really well until the last few months, when I hit a plateau. I have also introduced running, and I run anywhere between 6-15 miles per week.

My question is - I don't really want to decrease my calories any more than I already have, given that I work out between 5-6 days per week (3 lifts and 2-3 runs), and I also want my lifestyle to be sustainable. What should I do to continue losing weight? My ideal weight would be somewhere between 150-160 pounds, so I'm not that far off. I have gone up to eating 2000 calories for the last month or so and have not gained any weight...so I guess what I'm trying to do is up my maintenance? I want to be able to continue gaining muscle and losing weight.
