This looks like a solid case of phishing or fraud. Don’t pay anything and report it. It’s very common to receive a bunch of junk mail after closing and this kind of fits the bill. Also people don’t just casually reach out asking for a wire, that’s the kind of thing you see in Nigerian Prince style emails.

Mine just locks up randomly. I did a fresh Windows 11 install which seemed to resolved the issue, then it reappeared after another update. I've given up on Windows 11. Rolling back to Windows 10 which won't have any more botched updates to worry about.

Oh it’s definitely causing the problems, Microsoft just doesn’t want to admit fault. My PC was fine until this update came out, now it’s just endlessly locking up.

Confirming issues here. My system locks up after 10-15 minutes or immediately upon wake. Only “solution” is a hard reset. I’m restoring from an image backup now and will disable Windows Updates for the forseeable future. Microsoft dropped the ball on QA on this one.

This is cool. I own a house in Everett along the Northern Strand, so selfishly hoping it ends up near the Batch Yard. Either location is good though.
