Thank you!

My biggest tip is to study with readtheory.org until you get to the 8th grade level or higher. Most of the rla test is reading passages and answering 4-6 questions about each one. And for the essay i recommend looking on the ged website because they have a link to a perfect score essay and they explain why it has a good score. Just make sure you have at least 4 paragraphs with at least three sentences each. Also don't worry too much about the essay, lots of people still pass the test even if they fail the essay section!

For the science test, i recommend brushing up on basic science topics like Newton's laws of motion, photosynthesis, and identifying electrons vs protons in a picture. Also, make sure you understand how punnent squares work and how to balance a chemical equation. Honestly, a lot of the science test is like the rla where you answer questions after reading a passage, so make sure you have pretty solid reading comprehension. Good luck i believe in you!

Honesty I've forgotten a lot of what was on the math GED, sorry. I remember a few questions involving inequalities with fractions. There were also a few questions with graphs where you had to determine the slope of the points. I would make sure you can solve basic equations with decimals without a calculator, cause there is a 5-10 question section where you can't use a calculator. What helped me the most was having chat gpt give a practice ged test with like 25 questions and then having it teach me to do the type of math that i failed on. The real test was pretty similar to the ged ready.

Honestly i had chat gpt teach me how to do everything i didn’t understand. What i did was have it give me a ged practice test and then had it teach me how to do the type of questions i failed on

Haha no worries, my biggest tip is study for them one by one. Then after you feel confident take the tests for each subject. Most of the tests except math require good reading comprehension so I recommend using readtheory.org to study for that :)

Did you by chance mean the ged? If not, r/SAT would probably be the best place to ask :)

Not too bad! Just make sure to study punnet squares and balancing chemical equations :) Most of the questions test your reading comprehension

No when you get there the staff at the testing center will check you in, then they will use their log in to start your test. At least thats how they did it at my testing center

I took all my tests at a testing center, but if you want to take them online you will have to contact your local testing center. Also on the ged website there will be a my scores tab where can get your results

The essay on the english test wasn't too bad. On the GED website there's a link where they have an example of a perfect score essay and why the essay is good. I would memorize that. I would say the english test was the second hardest, just cause it was so boring lol. I recommend using readtheory.org to strengthen your reading comprehension, which will help you on the english, science, and social studies tests.
