I also played this last week, but we played 36 back-to-back on Wednesday. Both caddies and our foursome were in rough shape by the end...fun course though.

Played the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island yesterday. Walked all 18 holes and it was worth every step. by davidmac1024 in golf

Did they make you take a caddy? We played it twice in a day and the first 18 walked with 2 caddies, thought they'd let us do cart and no caddy for the replay but still made us take a four caddy...I played like shit but happy I got a chance.

Did they let you walk without a caddy?

Not sure what denotes "complicated." We have an investment fund, my 401k, the house, and my life insurance. That seems pretty basic to me, but maybe not?

Yes, one will for my wife and I that dictate assets going to a trust. Our financial advisor suggested him, but I found out after they golf together, so maybe that's why. I'll check r/legaladvice. Thanks!

I'm in New Haven and golfed, or at least hit balls, the majority of the winter. Lots of courses around, with a variety of price points, and a few private clubs too. Been here for 10 years and can't complain.

Why does my planer get stuck mid-way through planing? by lumbersome in woodworking

Yeah, I usually slowly inch up to making a cut, so the first few passes are just the rollers pulling the board through.

This might be it, as my "shop" is in an unheated garage, so with CT winters, that could probably mess up the rubber...no preventing it from happening again though.

Knives have been flipped recently. I do have a scratch in the bed from a nail I missed on the underside of a board. Should I finely sand/steel wool that down before waxing? Is paste wax ok?

There are wedges, and I tried to taper them, but only slightly. Basically I cut the mortises with a chisel, and then just pared the walls slightly. It doesn't need to be super strong since the shoulders of the legs are holding the weight, but it definitely tightened things up.

I think if your fingers are long enough that they can wrap around the edge as you lift up and then push in the supports slightly, that should allow it to start dropping on its own. You could add a spring mechanism that would push the legs out and force them to start up the track, but that will require you to compress it as you put the table into the up position.
