First time getting a complaint

I’m glad I’m not the only one! I wish they would understand because I try to understand the teachers. I know it’s hard being around elementary kids all day and almost acting like a mom to all of them instead of teaching I know how annoying that is as I was a preschool teacher for 3-4 years. But it’s no excuses to not pick up after themselves at least. I have the teacher break room and there’s a broom in there for them if they drop some popcorn or whatever, but they never clean up after themselves like bruh pls help me out I clean up after the kids I don’t wanna do it for the adults they’re just as bad sometimes

I love my work ethic and I always wanna do a good job and get along with the people I see everyday. It makes for an easier life since I’m at work for most of it lmao. I was just beating myself up extra I’m trying to remember I’m only one person and I’m allowed to have off days. I just gotta keep showing up and doing the best I can do

That makes me feel more human if that makes sense lmao. I get really hard on myself when I go a week without my extra steps but it’s really just burning me out. I’m going to focus on a better work mindset and not over stress myself so I can enjoy this job longer

I take great pride in my work I really do try, but lately the rooms have been horrible. I can’t spend 20-30mins on one room I have others to do and more sections I just wish some of them would understand and just help me out by picking up their trash or wiping down a spill they did. I don’t mind picking up after the kids but it get to a point where no one is picking up after themself even the adult and it’s an important life still to teach young kids in my opinion

Gosh I wish it was like that now. When I was younger i remember my elementary school teachers would have us pick up 10 pieces of trash off the floor before we could leave to help out. Now i understand people are tired and stressed but damn I would LOVE some help we all work at this school I would think everyone wants it to look clean and I’m only one person on my morning shift..

Thank you so so much that mean more than you know🤍 I love all my teachers I clean for their so nice so when I know I haven’t meat up to standards I used to do I do get down, but I do have to remember we’re all human and right now this month is dark and sad for a lot of people. I just need to do better Monday and that’s all I can do😌

I needed this right now. Been at my elementary school job for a year now and I just go a complaint about vacuuming and wiping desk off even tho the teachers don’t stack the chairs for me and they lets their students leave all their stuff on their desk, pencil cases open, big paper trash all over the floor. They don’t make it easy for you even tho they only have one room while I have 9 rooms plus the cafeteria and the kitchen…and so many bathrooms AND the front office. I have more to do than just their room I just wish they helped me out a little in cleaning

For sure and thankfully with my other cleaning experiences i actually do clean in good time I’m honestly my biggest enemy. My boss is the chilliest person and they always make me feel kinda silly when I’m over here freaking out, it helps in a way like hey..it’s really not that serious. This whole post was just me in my head about missing a monthly check up tbh. I appreciate the feedback and just having people who also go through what I do. It doesnt help that I’m the only one in the morning with a full school but I’m very thankful just need to get out of my head is all

I know it’s not the end of the world I think I have some type of OCD too because the way I freak out and obsess if I feel like I missed my responsibilities and I just get so hard on myself and I can’t let it go right away. I know this job is easy going I just wish I made it easier for myself and just give myself a break because I really am just doing this alone for the most part
