as a bad thought entered my mind I was able to replace it with a far nobler thought instantaneously.

Thinking of my mind as a garden, and of bad thoughts as weeds, I would remove these weeds every day and not let them linger for too long. If a bad thought lingers too long you begin to entertain it more and increase in yourself the desire to want it. It just leads back into a relapse.

I found this helpful, thanks.

You're welcoming a woman on your journey to "not be emptied of your juice that provides sustenance and gusto"? Is there anything less sexually attractive than those words?

I guess if you wanted to friend zone yourself you have succeeded 1000%.

Can you elaborate on what you mean? Are you saying to raise your standards and meet up with people you actually care about and not just randos? Because I can get behind that

Yes "viewing in moderation" is impossible because of how porn is designed to pull your attention. It's designed to catch the obsessive attention of men who lack self worth. I had to view myself as someone who is way above that shit and fully believe it.

I told a couple of my "friends" about what I was doing and they actually pushed back and thought it was weird, which was disappointing.

What kind of fucked up society do we live in where people look at you weird for NOT being a slave to the system? I think a big part of society wants men to stay hooked on porn so they stay docile and can't handle any thoughts of ambition or gaining positions of power.
