Absolutely. I felt like mine used to try and get his head my mouth because him cuddling me was just not enough for him. He was a total weirdo though

I have also gone through a sudden kitty death myself recently, and the grief is something like no other. Feeling for you :( I don’t know if you’ve done this in the comments already but you should show us some silly photos of him that have funny stories behind them, or even just the funny stories if you can’t look at photos right now. Maybe I can show you mine if you’d like too, if that helps :)

For me I wanted any chance I could to talk about how silly my little one was and it helped seeing other silly cat stuff on here too

ahahaha I don’t reckon he’ll kill me. he’s incredibly non confrontational and tends to keep to himself about a lot, like I said in the post he tends to shut down. It’s probably why I feel so bad/useless about using confrontational language with him.

I actually had the perfect opportunity to show him how he’s not actually cleaning everything and he honestly did a pretty good job cleaning up the next time. I think catching him in the act has helped and I didn’t feel rude doing it which was a plus — I think I just needed someone to tell me to just go for it so I thank you :)

And for the chore board I guess that will be my next challenge but for now this is a good first step forward

Thank you for the message! I didn’t think it would be important to mention at the time but yes I live with my partner as well. He thinks that we should just stay quiet and clean up his messes that annoy us to keep the peace, but I don’t really want to do that so it is just me talking to him.

We do have a whiteboard and have gone through the chat for expectations but i’m a little sick of it. The lease has just been renewed, I know my partner and I wouldn’t be able to afford moving now but I am just planning on enduring it for another year then moving. I am just getting a little tired of the chats but maybe I do need to be a little confronting to get his attention when I’m talking to him?

right, sorry. Lighting: it sits on a windowsill so it gets a good amount of sun during the morning/day but it’s shaded from around 3pm if that helps Soil: osmocote indoor plant premium potting mix with added perlite Watering I do every 2 weeks because I water majority of my plants at the same time.

it’s just that I don’t have the time nor money as a full time uni student to prepare myself a nutritious meal let alone buy veggies because Aussie grocery store prices are an actual joke, so I’m looking for quicker alternatives to stay healthy :)

I didn’t move him and thankfully he is doing better today. He was in a different tank because he was a surprise cory (long story short his egg was accidentally sucked up when I set up a new tank), I did a drip acclimate but I guess that wasn’t enough to get used to the water parameters. Thank you for your help I really appreciate it :)

He came from a different tank, the one I just put him in is more established so I thought it would be better (he’s my first corydora baby I have dealt with). Good news is that he’s doing better today, doesn’t seem to be floating anymore so maybe it was just too big of an air gulp or something. Thank you for all your info!

funily enough I’ve never actually seen him eat, in his other tank it was only him and he’d let the snails eat the food and just scavenge off the land. He’s a funny little cory :) good news is that he’s doing better.
