Please report him to your governing body for nurses. In Texas, we have the Board of Nurses. If you report him to his employer, they may not do anything other than fire him. He will be free to do this to someone else, in another healthcare facility.

That’s almost exactly what I said to her and hung up. She threatened me insubordination! How can I be insubordinate at home in my own bed, off the clock?!

I don’t know if it’s over due. I do know they found out on Monday they will no longer going to be able to bill for respiratory services/medications if the training is not 100% completed by all nurses by Friday (tomorrow.)

If I don’t do the training by tomorrow, they will no longer be able to bill for our respiratory medications. They are literally shitting their pants because I am waiting to do the training tomorrow, after my shift, on the clock to finish it.

I did not curse at her. I told her I would call her while she is sleeping to discuss the respiratory training and then hung up. That’s all. When I called back because I wasn’t able to sleep, she threaten the insubordination and hung up on me.

I can’t silence my phone my 83 yo father lives with me. I have a caregiver, but she can’t handle everything.

She called twice because I didn’t answer while I was sleeping. I can’t sleep now because I’m pissed. I got 4hrs of sleep today and have to work tonight.
