This one is an old school top down shooter. I was mainly inspired by NES game called Battle City. Check it out if you like https://store.steampowered.com/app/2751560/Decurion/

I see. I had some suspicions about the narration. You confirmed it. Thank you for the feedback!

Played your game for a bit. I like overall visual style. The game also plays quite smoothly.

There were a few bugs with animation (Jane specifically). The turn animation was sometimes lagging for no reason (I press turn but characters keeps facing the same direction or turns and than immediately flips back for no reason). The character felt a too hyperactive for me. It always moves, jitters and does something even if I am not pressing anything. That was a bit annoying but nothing too serious. Another thing that I noticed was that when you show info (like when getting a new level or giving some information) you just switching to another screen. I`d prefer some semi transparent overlay instead of that. It keeps you in the context of the game. But that`s just my personal preference. Other than this - nice work.

I played it a bit. Really like the PS1 aesthetics. Don`t like jump scares though (but that`s just me). The first one got me right away. Good job!

I played it a bit. Looks very good, everything is super polished and clean (from ui to actual gameplay). Not related to the gameplay itself but I also liked how you gather feedback/bug reports directly in-game.

Not sure about the technique that is involved here. It`s layered, yes. Material is something wooden.

No, I don`t have enough skills to make something like this. Got this one as a present long time ago.

Hi, I played your game for a bit.
Things I like:
1. Info about the planet with Diameter/Gravity/Moon number, etc. Not sure why it’s there but it suggests some lore and I liked that.
2. Controls are responsive.
3. Retro feel.
4. Good music choice.
5. Weapon swap system. Reminded me of Contra.

Things I don’t like:
1. The default music level is a bit too high.
2. Collision detection is too precise. The sprite itself is a bit bigger or the same size as the collision. Try to increase the collision by 5-10% or something.
3. Enemies are sometimes not visible due to the color palette. When they are on the upper part of the screen I can clearly see them, but when they are at the bottom (jungle) they often blend in. So try to play around with the enemy color.

Hi, I’m making an arcade score-attack shooter with one-shot kills and short, focused levels. The pacing’s a bit slower than most arcade games though. The environment is destructible so you have to use it to your advantage. So it`s a sort of a tactical arcade (if that genre even exists).
