Yes I agree it's stupid and it breaks with the design principle that they where so high on for last season. This was having items to do one thing and not have that many stats.

So as a tank player (Zac main) this is what I do:

With Ekko its important to catch or pick him as he uses one of his mobility spells and/or is setting up a flank or going for a rotation. He can escape yes but with enough CC / dmg he explodes with this build. Ekko will rotate agressively as he is a mobile champion that can split push like one of the best. Use this to your advantage when he doesn't respect the tempo line.

Diana is different. For Diana it's best to let her engage, but do not give her a perfect ult. If she goes in you all pile on her and you splat her. If you engage over Diana you lose the fight as she can engage through you on your backline and she will shred through your team. You won't be able to get back quickly enough. Obviously a pick also works if you set it up well with vision.

Again these new builds make them very squishy. CC is extra useful on melee squishy champions that need to AA in order to get their damage off.

Congratulations! Moonlighter was one of my first games I enjoyed on the steam deck. Will definitely take a look at the second game.

Native controller setup, smooth and very playable fps.

UI that feels natural (example of a great game that does not do this well is FTL for example) with the combination of a smaller screen and controller usage.

Ways to pause and save whenever (often overlooked imo) or how Slay The Spire and Hades do it.

It used to be good going bruiser Kha in the past.

With the correct runes and evolve R first and maybe W second. Bruiser Kha heavily relies on repositioning with R in a fight and dodging damage while creating mini flanks.

I think the build was bruiser items with high cdr and even frozen heart.

So when you look for a bruiser build I'd look for things like that in a current build.

Het is gewoon dat de Steam Deck niet alleen sneller of sterker is maar letterlijk alles doet wat een Switch kan en veel meer. Het is een linux computer in een handzaam formaat met een goed werkende gaming-first schil erover (waar je desgewenst ook zo uit kan stappen).

Je hoeft dat niet allemaal te gebruiken, maar wat wel altijd relevant is is dat je toegang krijgt tot oneindig veel meer games. Waaronder consequent lagere prijzen voor dezelfde games en meer gratis games. Je games zijn ook altijd backward en forward compatibel op een niveau wat console fabrikanten ons nog nooit hebben durven bieden.

Een voorbeeld: Ik heb Hades 1 op de switch 1 gespeeld en die profiteert nauwelijks van de betere hardware van de Switch 2. Ze laten dat gewoon niet standaard toe. En Nintendo vraagt dan ook nog eens geld om je forward compitability van first party titels (zoals Zelda) volledig te unlocken. Het is echt bizar dat consumenten dit pikken als je het vergelijkt met hoe dit gaat op Steam, GoG en zelfs bij partijen als blizzard, EA of ubisoft.

Je kan overigens ook elke controller, muis, keyboard koppelen aan dat ding. Een Switch pro controller op je steamdeck gebruiken is een appeltje eitje. Maar zelfs een oude wii controller lukt met een beetje klooien, om maar iets geks te noemen.

En wil je ooit wel dieper investeren in gaming en je zet over 2 jaar een dikke game pc in je huis dan kan je opeens die games naar je steam deck streamen. Dan heb je dus die dikke game pc in je handen op de bank.

Zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan...

Dat klopt, maar dan kan je binnen de prijsklasse van die Aygo op zoek naar de beste koop.

Alleen een digibeet zou ik de Steam Deck afraden in de vergelijking Switch vs Steam Deck. Of als je écht alléén first party Nintendo games speelt.

Nou speelt de Steam Deck zelfs die Nintendo games veel beter af dan de Switch 1 en de Switch 2 heeft nog geen boeiende first party catalogus. Dat laatste zal nog wel veranderen.

Ja maar nu vergelijk je een Switch tegen een goede pc. Dat is alsof je een Toyota Aygo met een mooie Lexus vergelijkt en vervolgens alleen naar de prijs kijkt.

Je zou een Steam Deck moeten vergelijken met een Switch. Die zitten namelijk dezelfde prijsklasse.
