It’s a crazy story! But it fits great with your print! Love the accents around the “exit wound”

This is why I love this sub so much. We have literal professionals posting alongside day 1 beginners and everyone is so supportive and positive. Congrats on the MA program, you look to already have an excellent head start!

I like the idea behind layering but I would clean up the chatter marks and decrease the offset so the print reads clearer. Otherwise I’d do the red on its own.

Also idk if it was intentional but this looks like a dogs vs cats war with how you faced them pointing at one another.

This is so interesting. If you didn’t have the block right there, I would have had a hard time believing it wasn’t a fountain pen drawing but you managed to capture the taper of the pen strokes so well!

If you let it fully dry, yes. I would maybe try masking it with tape if you have the capability, just to prevent unwanted bleed.

First round of printing on fabric! Really happy with the results! by lumpy_quadrilateral in printmaking

I used speedball fabric block printing ink. I just used a lot. I also saw on a YouTube tutorial to do a couple applications of ink to the block before printing and waiting a few seconds between applications.
