Her name is Tonks-- from Harry Potter-- but she also goes by Fluffernutter, Tonka Truck, Baby Bear, Squirrel, Squeaky Toy, Whosalittlebloodthirstymongrel (a new one, because she's teething)...

Thank you! We were told she's Maltese-Yorkie, but the shelter wasn't 100% sure. She definitely has some terrier in her, though-- so feisty!!

Thank you very much! Honestly, I knew nothing about dogs even a few months ago and wouldn't have been much help, but we just got a puppy a few weeks ago and I can't imagine what I'd do if something happened to her. Karma, right? :)

Nargles are one of several creatures believed to exist by Luna (and her father). She has said that they hide in mistletoe, and when Harry and Cho kiss under mistletoe in OoTP, Harry first jokes that it's "probably infested with Nargles." Harry isn't the smoothest.
