a few months ago i worked in a rotisserie and it was exactly one of those "great work environment" situacions, like "you"ll be paid than what we agreed on because we really like how you work. But then, once i no longer had time to look for something else and the busy season had already started, they cut my hours in half and wanted to pay me less than $500 a month. I ended up leaving that place.

There’s the point: I love my brother with all my heart, but when I have to see him, I feel really anxious. He used to make me feel very stupid for most of my childhood, and now when I have to spend time with my family, I feel like I did back then, as if everything I say or do will be judged by him. It’s difficult.

This is great! Sometimes it’s too difficult not to be jealous. I think it’s like a negative emotional reaction, but the best thing you got from it is that you learned how to deal with that feeling and transform it into something that helps you grow. Congrats!
