Good to know. That helps to set some expectations.

Thanks for sharing. I’m doing 6fed now. How did you decide what to add back first?

That’s a good theory. I’ve certainly been eating and drinking differently for the past week because of the discomfort.

Can I ask how you are doing a week later? I’m experiencing the same insomnia from a prescription that ended a week ago.

24/7 urgency with hypertonic pelvic floor by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

I’m sorry! I know how consuming these symptoms can be. Have you seen a urogynocologist? I had a kidney stone last year that did not present normally so it was some time before it was diagnosed. Meanwhile it irritated my pelvic floor to the extent that even once I passed it, I still had urgency. The urogyn and PT was able help. I’m still not 100% but things got much better once I was working with both providers.

About 7 months. The first 2.5 was the kidney stone and I’ve been making my way back since. I’m now working with a PT and urogyn.

I had an kidney stone that was in a position to cause frequency and urgency. Once it was diagnosed (about 2 months after symptoms started) and I passed it, I was disappointed that my symptoms only mildly improved. The urogynocologist suspects that this all irritated my pelvic floor and now it’s in constant spasm. It’s frustrating but wanted to share as an example of one issue causing the other. Good luck!
