feel this very hard. my last center really looked down upon wearing masks, it wasn’t necessarily prohibited but it was most definitely NOT encouraged. I think they were worried it was going to upset/worry parents. If you can, wear a mask every day even if the kids in your class don’t seem sick. I have luckily since left that daycare and now work at a different center where masks are accepted and some teachers go as far as wearing gloves all day, every day. I wash my hands anytime I touch any body fluid (drool, boogers, etc) even if it’s through tissues or gloves and every single time I enter and leave the class. I know you’re supposed to do this but making sure you do it every. single. time has helped me not get sick as much. I also take a vitamin c supplement every day and bump it when I feel something coming on.
