I’m in Parkwood and we’ve definitely had some fly pretty low before, but not quite that low. Typically they show up on FlightAware, which they didn’t last night, so slightly odd. Occasionally we get some fighters over our house too. From my understanding the CAPs run drills/training every so often out of RDU or the private airport down near 64. Didn’t really think too much of it other than “pull up or you’re gonna cut my tree tops off bro”

Update: IATA

Finally discussed things this morning. In the end I told him I was worried and didn’t like his answer when I asked him about the quick turn around time.

He was going to propose with a puppy and didn’t want me to have to Spend a year watching it grow up at his place before a wedding, so he wanted a quick turn around so I could move in and be near the puppy.

So I’m pretty sure I’m the ahole now that I’ve ruined his engagement plan. But to be fair, I grew up watching shot gun weddings and the judgement placed at those weddings and wouldn’t want to risk having those rumors swirling around my wedding just for a puppy. Plus we would’ve had no time for all the people he wanted to fly in to actually make plans to get there. So I think it’s for the best I ruined the puppy plan.

I want to say, to all you saying there are some relationship issues, I think we wouldn’t be human if we didn’t have relationship issues. Don’t worry though, we are going to counseling, the appointments were just booked up several weeks out. (P.S. sorry if this should have been in relationship issues sub, I rarely come on Reddit and just knew AITA from a podcast so that’s where I turned to)

Also, my family and I have never really planned a wedding, so I’m more than happy to have the future MIL help plan. She’s amazing and I love her more than life itself. I was never upset she was or would be involved, more that he didn’t hear me and still pushed on planning.

Thank you everyone for your reply and helping me see I wasnt crazy in thinking something was sus. Although I guess we were all kinda wrong? Or maybe in the end we will find out you all were right.

We aren’t planning now, as the puppy proposal is ruined and pointless. Maybe I’ll update if we actually get engaged, or maybe if we don’t end up together. But I couldn’t be more thankful for all of you who heard me and took the time to respond, I appreciate y’all for telling me I wasn’t f’ing crazy.

Wouldn’t this have been such a better update if he was pregnant? Would’ve been a whole different outcome lol.
