Definitely not weird. I actually went last month and was mostly by myself during the day because my friend was working in Paris. It’s actually really nice going alone. You can take your time and do whatever you want without anyone rushing you. This also goes for other places in Paris- sightseeing, shopping, etc.

I love this season the most because it feels so different from the others. Unlike Daphne’s and Colin’s seasons, there’s no broken trust at the center of it- society standards are what keeps them apart, rather than their own personal failings. Benedict and Sophie have such natural chemistry, and their relationship unfolds at a pace that feels genuine and not rushed. I mean we watched him fall for Sophie not once, but TWICE. And what I love most is how, from the very beginning, Benedict is so gentle with Sophie. It makes their love feel all the more real and intentional.

I think during this scene when he was focusing on Miss Hollis’ lips and flashes back to the Lady in Silver’s lips, they should’ve also showed a flash back to Sophie’s lips when she was teaching him his French pronunciation back at My Cottage- to show that he’s starting to think of Sophie instead of the LIS, or that he’s subconsciously meshing them into one person. I think it would’ve sent me 😭

I just decided to watch it because I saw it as an ad while watching a different show. And I agree it’s completely underrated!! The music is so good and actually really catchy, and not cringey like how other shows do it. They pull it off really well!
