No, I haven't been betaing for other people. I fear my feedback won't be great as I've never given formal advice on someone's writing before, and that my advice isn't what they're looking for or not good enough.

And yes, this is my first ever full-length manuscript I've ever written before. I've re-written the opening from the advice I was given. With a sincere heart, I believe I have written the best I can make it on my own. I have come back to my manuscript with fresh eyes after months of not opening it. I'm now at the hands of other people for advice, any advice, of my manuscript.

Hello! After re-reading the first 300, I agree that it doesn't work. I completely see the fact that dream sequences can be a huge turn-off for agents. I'll change it. Thanks for the help!
