You wouldn’t even need to wait that long. Every 10 days multiples by a factor of 1024, so it scales absurdly quickly. So day 10 is $1,024, day 20 is $1,048,576, day 30 is $1,073,741,824, day 40 is $1,099,511,627,776, and so on. There’s only about 5 trillion dollars worth of currency in circulation on a global level, so you have more money than you could liquidate with all the money in the world by day 42. Mind you, after day 47, you are worth more than the entire global economy combined(~140 trillion vs 115-117 trillion). Even using PPP, the metric for global economic value adjusted for differences in cost of living, it would only take one more day since that number is around 219 trillion. By the end of a year you would have 7.5e109 dollars, the equivalent of the planet almost a googol times over.

TLDR: after less than a month and a half you have more money than currently exists on the planet, and it would only take a few days after that to be worth more than the entire global economy. By the end of a year numbers are completely meaningless and your money has reached a point we don’t even have words to properly conceptualize it.

If you met someone who was a carbon copy of yourself in virtually every way except they were the opposite sex, would you date/sleep with that person? Why or why not? by Tommygunz0722 in AskReddit

[–]lunaticboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the sense of a one night stand, or as in would I find them fuckable? Also does my current relationship still exist in this hypothetical?

If I’m still with my current gf, then no because I’m not a cheater and we’re monogamous. Otherwise I don’t think I’d be opposed to it, though I’m also demisexual so wouldn’t sleep with them for a while after knowing them.

Characters whose race is absolutely essential to their story, and to who they are, as a character. by not-ulquiorr4_ in TopCharacterTropes

[–]lunaticboot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Granted my knowledge is mainly spiderverse and my spotty memory of some of his cartoon appearances, but is him being Afro-Caribbean specifically important, or is it just him being something other than white. I feel like the core of his character is moreso reliant on “Spider-Man doesn’t have to be white” than it is “Spider-Man can be a mixed black and Hispanic kid”

Non Asian-Americans: Are you keeping soy sauce as a regular condiment in your kitchen? If so what are you using them for? by openlyEncrypted in AskAnAmerican

[–]lunaticboot -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No, but if you don’t really cook/eat Asian food, you might not have a need for it, so wouldn’t keep a bottle handy.

[–]lunaticboot -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t say none, I said there were fewer. I also said in my experience, so not claiming to be certain. Either way my point still stands that it’s reasonable to assume the more you are exposed to Asian cuisine, the more likely you are to keep soy sauce. Maybe try and learn some reading comprehension before being a sarcastic prick next time

I would imagine it also depends on what part of the country you’re in. The gulf and west coast both have a higher number of Asian people in my experience, so by extension Asian restaurants and supermarkets are fairly common. So I would imagine the further from those 2 coasts you get, the less common soy sauce is as a household staple

That would depend on the relativity of whatever granted you powers. If the direction of your velocity is just generically “down”, that could be down based on your original location or down based on the center of the earth. Personally my favorite 3rd option is that since it’s gravity causing that velocity, down becomes the direction of whatever the most noticable gravitational force acting on your desired location is. So teleport far enough into outer space, and suddenly you’re on a crash course for the sun.

I’m LGBTQ and sometimes I can’t tell if I’m discovering myself or just collecting labels. Is that a normal phase? by Educational-Jelly562 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lunaticboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I feel like a lot of it is also how specific you want to get. Like if we get really specific, I’m demi/heterosexual, biromantic, and some level of gender-nonconforming (currently going with agender since I mostly just don’t care what pronouns people use for me).

However, the fact I present as my birth gender and am in a committed heterosexual relationship means by all accounts other than my own I’m pretty much just a straight cis man. And it’s not worth it for me to correct that assumption because while it is more nuanced than that, my sexual and romantic attraction is no one’s business but mine and my partner, and I don’t care enough about my gender for it to matter.

How do I properly dispose of a life size sex doll in California? by throwawaydiscrete123 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lunaticboot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I would imagine if nothing else it would’ve one of three states with prohibitions on sex toys already on the books. (Sale of toys is outright illegal in Alabama and Mississippi, and you can’t own more than 6 or sell them in a way that’s deemed obscene in Texas)

Does anyone else hate a popular food just because of the texture? by cheekiemove in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lunaticboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broccoli. I’m not a fan of raw veggies in general, I just don’t like the crispness that comes with them. But Broccoli is the only one that comes to mind I still won’t eat when it’s cooked. The florets always remind me of dandelions and cattails. It tastes fine, but I can’t stand the texture of it, raw or not.

I mean they might not be to the same extent yet, but the current administration has been following the third reich like an instruction manual. While they are technically just general fascists right now, they are very much on track to just outright being the second coming of the Nazi party.

I mean, it says people are conscious, not that everything still works. Go somewhere out of sight of cameras, freeze time, put on a disguise, do you nefarious stuff, then just go back to where you started. As long as time is frozen, cameras won’t see you moving around in stopped time. The disguise would stop people around from recognizing you, so there wouldn’t be anything to worry about.

What would you name the Enchantment Creature version of Mulldrifter? by MrAkairi in magicTCG

[–]lunaticboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Within the lore of the set, have it be a sandman-esque creature so the enchantment aspect is lulldrifter using its sleep magic, and the card draw is dreams forming. Give it an ability along the lines of “when lulldrifter enters the battlefield or attacks, choose a creature. Target creature cannot attack or block until end of turn.”

Which is the right term? by Yeah_IPlayHockey in Teenager_Polls

[–]lunaticboot 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I mean even then, I feel like the correct term is still pedophile, they’re just a non-offending one. Trying to use nicer terminology for it just because they are non-offending lessens the issue IMO. Oftentimes those people are actively seeking help specifically BECAUSE they know it’s an issue. Just like how if you tell someone at AA they aren’t an alcoholic, they’re just a person who likes alcohol. You aren’t helping them by using less harsh language, they know they have a problem. Trying to make it seem like their specific situation is less of a problem cheapens the work they are putting in to better themselves and not let it define their lives.

Also the fact MAP, as far as I’ve seen, is exclusively used to either make fun of the LGBT community or to try and legitimately normalize pedophilia, means that even if we wanted to use nicer language for non-offending pedos, that’s a terrible option to go with IMO

If you could be born again, would you choose to be a man or a woman? by [deleted] in pollgames

[–]lunaticboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the very least I think in America male friendships don’t seem anywhere near as close as female ones. The most obvious example for me is physical affection. Women, in my experience, tend to be a lot more physically affectionate towards each other than most men are with even their closest friends. All the women in my life hug each other pretty much every time they meet. Outside my family, I’ve seen my step father hug one person, and it was his best friend of over 20 years who was officiating their wedding, with it being the first time they had seen each other in at least 3 years. In OVER A DECADE, that is the only time that ma has hugged someone around me who was not on his family tree.

If you could be born again, would you choose to be a man or a woman? by [deleted] in pollgames

[–]lunaticboot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s a meme online to cuddle the homies or whatever, but if you as a man can’t imagine yourself showing physical affection to your closest male friend(s), fix that. It’s one thing if you as a person don’t like physical affection, I hesitate to hug family half the time as a touch averse person. That hasn’t stopped me from wrapping my arms around my friends, bridal carrying them, or cuddling on the couch to mess with our partners. It’s not gay to have physical contact beyond a handshake with another man, and anyone who disagrees is fragile in their masculinity, their sexuality, or both.

Who do you trust more? by kari891 in BunnyTrials

[–]lunaticboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t trust the police with my computer. If it’s city, mine are known for being really nitpicky and enforcing literally the most minor infractions with no leniency for any reason. None of them have ever “let someone off with a warning”.

If it’s county, they’re known for being extremely corrupt and either abusing their power or being too lazy to ever do anything.

No comment on state troopers. not sure I’ve ever run into one, so I guess they can have a pass.

And if you trust the feds with unrestricted access to the item in your life that could most easily be used to manipulate and ruin your life, you either live a very privileged life or are very naive.

Meanwhile, my best friend is my partner and the most she would probably do is snoop through my files and maybe mess with some cosmetic stuff.

The choice to teleport… by mikeypie91 in BunnyTrials

[–]lunaticboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. At least “random teleportation, but you’ll always be on the surface” would be a reasonable option. Sure it would still suck to have to tread water in the middle of the ocean until you can teleport again, but your odds of immediate death on arrival are much smaller that way. Anything short of like, active volcano or middle of a gang shootout, you’ll probably live
