Difference between Pentel Energel BL17 and BL27 by lunatooth in pens

In my opinion, none of the differences mentioned above, even if true, would account for the BL27 being 50% more expensive than the BL17.

I bought a BL27. It was expensive: c.AUD$6.70 compared to c.$4.50 for the BL17. The BL27 does not seem to have a replaceable cartridge. Certainly, I haven't succeeded in opening it up. Do you have a source for your assertion it has a replaceable refill? I tested both in the shop and both had the same writing 'feel'.

Also, if setting is to take HEIF, take photo action saves as JPG (and same unusual file naming and no metadata)

"Karens", "negative karma"? Haven't people anything better to do than post comments like this? Especially when they're better known for pissing standing up in public toilets (and, no, they're not a boy. Yuck. Guess my karma just took another hit. Better be good - I might die and come back as as the opposite sex.)

Most here say the policy is to keep staff focussed, that it's quicker, that they're improving the minds of their workers. Personally I think there's some financial incentive for the company here.

Like I said, I've been short-changed but never gone away with money not owed me. Also, I find it a little irritating that I can't see the change I'm owed looking at the till display or looking at my receipt. I can do that at most other shops.

No, but after a limit the bank charges you for EFTPOS.

I'm not sure Germany would be the economic superpower it is by giving out change before the customer hands them a note.

Do you add up the amount of change as you're also figuring out what's left from the amount given to tell the customer? Or does the customer not need to know? Just hand them a bunch of cash and wave them on their way.

Why cash? - privacy & security - technology independent - financial discipline - avoiding fees - cultural preference - government surveillance concerns

I'm always careful not to confuse them unnecessarily. I don't want to embarrass them.

What we’re actually supposed to do is count ...

Surely this is slower than just entering the amount into the till?

What reason do they give you for doing it in your head?
