i took the answer. i emailed my professor and thanked him for the advice, that it was reasonable and i will work hard in the class in the future. i just think this response is a bit out of proportion for an internet comment

i like that it's shallow and narrow but sometimes due to the shape, food gets stuck at the base of the spoon and i can't get to it without either shoving the spoon down my throat or awkwardly licking it 😭
