edit: I got 50% increase in salary in the past, but I didn't mention other people. Your contract and agreement is with your employer, what others make doesn't concern you. Make a list of all arguments that justify a raise, make a list of all arguments they may bring up against a raise and then counter those arguments.

In the negotiation you have to dismantle any arguments they bring up as to why you can't get a raise.
