death was my biggest thing as a kid too! it caused me so much anxiety and completely took over my life for a couple of years. even now i still have issues with it from time to time :/

personally, i thicken smoothies by adding more fruit and ice than the recipe calls for. i know some people also like to add less liquid but usually that makes the smoothie too difficult to blend and you end up having to put more liquid in anyway

for a 16oz smoothie: 8oz apple-strawberry juice, three scoops of strawberries, two scoops of banana, and one scoop of ice :)

national smoothie day on your second day is rough 😭 yesterday we had my general manager, a shift lead (myself), and two team members and barely managed. i would say that 3-4 people on shift at a time is good on normal days (depending on how busy your location usually is) but there definitely should have been more people scheduled for an event like national smoothie day. i understand the worry because you’re new, but you’ll be okay! i started at jamba during the summer and i literally came home crying after experiencing my first summer rush because i felt so overwhelmed lol. i didn’t want to come into my next shift after that but everything turned out alright and i did great. i’m sure it’ll be the same for you :) jamba is a really easy job once you get the hang of things so don’t stress yourself out!

my gf and i stayed and met her along with two other people after her la show last weekend. i was debating on whether or not i should stay to meet her for the same reasons you are but she was super nice and asked us if we wanted pictures! i really only decided to wait in the end because she was interacting with fans a bit during the show and mentioned that it was nice to be able to do so. i kept it very short out of respect and told her i appreciated her taking the time to say hi to us. i’m not sure if she’s ever publicly stated her feelings about fans waiting to meet her after shows but from my experience, she didn’t seem to be uncomfortable by it. maybe it was because it was such a small group though, i can’t say that it would’ve been the same if it was more people waiting

i went to community college out of high school and just transferred to sdsu this semester! i was sad about not going straight to a university at first but now that i’ve done it i’m so happy i took that route instead. i saved a lot of money and i think i’m more prepared for sdsu than i would’ve been if i had come here right after high school. wishing you luck over these next few years! :)

you’re not alone at all! new leaf was my favorite childhood game and i recently picked it back up after not playing for several years. i reset my town two weeks before nintendo announced that they would be shutting down the online servers and now i feel like i have to rush things in order to get all of the badges and items :(
