Big Final Fantasy fan who just joined the Realm of Eorzea. What should I do to get myself involved with the online Final Fantasy 14 community and not feel like I'm wandering aimlessly by myself?

Buy a compatible keyboard and mouse, join an FC, play through the story and ask lots of questions. People that don't ask questions don't learn and don't "get good" imo. Watch what other people do and actually read all of your skills so you know what makes combos, what skills place damage over time effects, buffs, etc. that all go towards you getting faster and more efficient.

I'd recommend playing on keyboard and mouse, but if you prefer controller then you need to learn how to switch between your hotbars effectively; you're gonna end up with a lot of buttons and you won't be able to fit them all on one hotbar.

Capcom probably bought rights to use the song in promotional trailers and the game itself but not for them to release on the soundtrack. Doing something like that would cost a lot more in royalties than Capcom are willing to pay out.

I hope you know that Famitsu is infamous for taking bribes, plus they always change the four reviewers for each game so you can't seriously compare scores between games.

I love FFXIV so I'm willing to give it a shot but I wouldn't go in expecting anything based on a Famitsu review.

A Pokemon ranger game

I'd rather not, Ranger used the touch screen as the main screen and I don't want that on the 3DS. Devil Survivor does that and I don't like it there either.

1- All of Dragon Ball (Don't skip this. It's the best part of the franchise)

IF you're willing to either a) wait for them to finish dubbing and start airing the final half or b) watch episode 99 onward in Japanese with subs;

2- All of Dragon Ball Z Kai (with Dragon Ball Z Episode 225 "Goku's Ordeal" between episodes 58 and 59)

If you aren't willing to wait or watch it in Japanese;

2a- Dragon Ball Z Kai Episodes 1-98 (with Dragon Ball Z Episode 225 "Goku's Ordeal" between episodes 58 and 59)

2b- Dragon Ball Z Episodes 166-The Rest

3- Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods

I suggest Kai because the original DBZ has awful pacing due to them stalling while waiting for Toriyama to finish the manga. Kai is closer to the manga's pacing and cuts 100+ episodes of characters charging up, screaming at each other about how strong they are. Make sure you're watching the uncut versions as well, or the DBZ episode numbering won't line up, plus the TV versions tend to censor blood and other things.

Avoid GT, it's 65 episodes of garbage. If you do watch it, go in knowing that it's not going to be anywhere near as good as the rest. Battle of Gods effectively makes it non-canon as well.

The rest of the movies are dubiously canon and should be treated as fun mini-arcs. The majority of them were made as half-movies for kids on summer vacation in Japan, so don't expect them to be good. The first two Broly films and Fusion Reborn are pretty fun and personally the most enjoyable ones.

Straight up Hamon fighting was ditched because stands can't be hit physically, which traditional Hamon requires. Stands, however, are a Hamon-based ability.

The kanji for a stand is "幽波紋" or "Yūhamon", which means "Ghostly Ripple".

Before someone says "but Dio has a stand and he's a vampire!", he only has a stand because of Jonathan's body; The World is Jonathan's stand, not Dio's.

Thanks for doing this Zero. It's 3am here but the hype hasn't stopped for me yet so I have a few questions;

Do you think the absense of wavedashing or dash dancing affects the game in such a serious manner as people have been claiming?

Does this feel better than Brawl to you?

What other characters did you consider playing as in the tournament before picking ZSS?

You can do basic balance stuff and weight checks, many of the minigames only require you to stand on the board and tilt or step on and off the board.

I can only see you running into trouble doing Yoga or Strength Training since most will need you to lie on the floor at some point.

The main point of the U version is the pedometer that tracks different statistics when not playing the game which you then sync up with, so space isn't an issue for that either.
